Committed to Service, Community, and Education

Real estate is about more than buying and selling homes — it’s about building connections, strengthening communities, and empowering people through knowledge. At Chantal Winstead Homes, I’m committed to both service and education, helping clients and neighbors thrive.

Why I’m Running 26.2 Miles for Military Families

I’ve taken on a new challenge: running the Marine Corps Marathon. But I’m not just chasing a personal best or crossing an item off my bucket list—I’m running to raise $1,000 for Blue Star Families, an organization that means a great deal to me and to the many military families who quietly serve our country behind the scenes.

The Silent Sacrifices of Military Families
While service members put on the uniform, it’s their families who bear the weight of constant transitions, long deployments, and uncertain futures. Spouses often put their own careers on hold. Children change schools more times than most of us can imagine. And entire families frequently live apart from extended family and community support systems.

Blue Star Families exists to bridge those gaps. They offer:

  • Career resources for military spouses
  • Mental health and wellness programs
  • Support for military children facing transitions
  • Community-building initiatives that help families feel connected and seen
  • Their

Their work ensures that no military family feels invisible—and that they have the tools and support they need to thrive.

Running 26.2 miles is a small challenge compared to what these families go through daily. Every step I take is in honor of their strength, sacrifice, and resilience.

Every dollar makes a difference. Whether you give $10 or $100, your contribution supports families who give so much—often without recognition.

Let’s Make These Miles Matter
If you’re a runner, a veteran, a military spouse, or just someone who wants to give back—you can be part of this mission.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping me run not just for myself, but for something greater.
